Book Update: Sometimes things just don’t go as planned!

After being extremely excited with the printing job by Gilmore Printing in Ottawa, and anxiously waiting (like a kid at Christmas) for the finished book to be returned from binding; the book is returned from the binding company with major issues!

We don’t know what happened at the binding plant, but when it was returned, the binding company has gone and messed things up big time!! I am furious!!! They have gone and done something that has caused the cover to warp and created a wave like pattern on the inside pages. Gilmore is not impressed with the binding company either and is looking into what caused this.

At this point, it looks like the book is going to have to be printed again, for the 3rd time!

I’m made sure that Gilmore Printing knows that this is now a priority rush job! It takes approximately 3 days to print both sides (as it needs time to dry between sides), then it needs to be folded and shipped for binding. I’m hoping printing will be completed by the end of the week/early next week.
