Off To Print

Well it’s been a fast paced last 2 weeks to say the least!
 
We’ve been doing phone interviews with local papers, writing article for websites, designing sell sheets for Chapters/indigo, reviewing final samples/dummy book, final checks on design/layout, reading/re-reading all text in the book (thankfully there isn’t a lot of text), sending out PDF’s to the printer for feedback, editing design and layout based on printers feedback, filling out the paperwork for an account with the printer, signing off on printer documents, sending out press releases.
 
All of this was done while shooting a week long event for the Government of Canada. Thankfully technology allowed me to stay connected with my graphic designer and printer.
 
Next thing to come is the printed proofs, press checks (which means a long days drive to get to the printer), sitting and watching the book come off the production line, reviewing it, signing off on it, then another long drive back.
 
It’s so close to being done!!!
